More Kernels That work on UD

Just wanted to let people know that P3Droid updated his kernels to work on any Rom with the method that Koush posted. His Kernels support wifi and usb tether and have TUN built in. I think they are all low voltage and he has a variety of 7 slot speeds available. I used his 900MHz on mine with UD 9.8 and it worked fine. They are all available on his site:

    Thanks for the heads up.

*grumble* And my job just got harder.
Facts are a wonderful thing. They can be proven true or false. Opinions on the other-hand aren't facts and generally get argued to death. I wonder which one is more helpful normally?

Do these kernels offer any benefits versus Chevy or Adam's LV kernels? I used him when I ran the CyanogenMod ROM for a while and didn't have any problems, but I also didn't notice any benefits.

I am using his 1.0 and it works really nice. I actually think I am getting higher benchmarks with his 1.0 kernel then with the others I have tried and I think I have tried all of them. I am now seeing how the battery does

Please let me know about any improvements on your battery life as well. I've been going back and forth between Chevy's and Adamz's kernels to find the best and most efficient kernel for my Droid so far, but haven't seen anything different.

I'm now experimenting with PDroid's 1.0 kernel as well.

For me personally I seem to get the best battery life and lowest temps with AdamZ's low voltage kernels. Everyone's Droid seems to be a little different though so what works best for me may not be the best for everyone.

As far as advantages go I don't think the kernels by AdamZ or ChevyNo1 have USB tethering built in so that may be an advantage of the P3droid kernels. Also AdamZ has only made 5-slot kernels so far so if you want 7 slots you'll have to go with someone else.

For yet another option Jake said his spec-edition kernel should work on UD although I haven't tried it on 9.8 yet (I know I used it for a while on an older version of UD though). It is a 7-slot 800MHz kernel that is designed to meet the specifications of the droid's processor. His speed edition would probably work as well but I haven't asked. They are available here:

Sorry if I'm not supposed to put a link to alldroid I'll take it off if it is against the rules.

i installed p3droid's 1.25 ghz kernel and the temp in temp monitor shot up to 136 degrees. had to switch back to chevy's medium voltage 1.25 ghz kernel.
    im running UD 9.8.
my phone only seems to like chevy's kernels. these phones are like cats...so finicky!
