Phone only rings once after installing UD 9.8

I upgraded to UD 9.8 and now my Droid only rings one time on incoming calls. If I have it on vibrate it will keep vibrating like normal but I only get 1 ring.
When I installed 9.8 I wiped both cache and data twice just to be safe. This seems to be a great rom other then this one issue I'm having with the ring. Thanks in advance for helping. Droid66.

Did you follow the instructions for the install? What method did you use?

I used SPRecovery to install the update zip and followed the instructions to the letter. I saw in the other thread a few people had the same problem but I couldn't find where it was solved.

Here is what I suggest - Use the nandroid version. Wipe 1st, and install. I know it takes longer but it usually fixes the issues. There seem to be a few apps out there that are causing random problems, and we are working on identifying them and isolating them.

I have the same issue with UD 9.8. I used the nandroid dowload, did a wipe data and cache and did that twice. I also installed the new baseband C_01.3E.03P right after the ROM so I am not sure what is causing it to only use the ringtone once.

Ok, I seem to have found the problem on my phone and all I had to do was change ring tones. I had it set on "Digital Phone" for the ringtone, I changed it to "Bell Phone" and it rings normally. I changed it back to "Digital Phone" and it would only ring 1 time, changed back to bell phone and it's back to normal again. The bug must be in the ring tones somewhere.

You beat me to it. There was no default ringtone after install. I selected one and poof! multiple rings. Problem solved.

I'm not sure I'd call this "solved." I did a Nandroid install, wiping everything first, and have had zero issues with 9.8... except this one. I'm using a custom ring tone that will only ring once. It's the exact same ring tone I used before, and it rang more than once in 9.0.

I'd call the fact that some ring tones work and some don't a symptom, not a solution. The question is why? Why do some work and some not? What's different between them, and what's different in 9.8 that's susceptible to this change?

What I did was change the: ro.telephony.call_ring.delay=1 back to ro.telephony.call_ring.delay=3000 That entry is located in the build.prop file.

Not to be an idiot but how do you access this file and modify it??
