About LinkBacksAnybody know when 2.1 will be officially rooted? I'm trying to decide whether I want to go back to 2.0.1 and root from there or just wait. I really want to get back to a rom.

04-07-2010 12:01 PMI used this http://www.droidforums.net/forum/res...d-2-1-ota.html. I did have to roll back but now that I am running it after the OTA 2.1 it seems exactly the same as the Stock 2.1 only now I get all the fun of having it rooted.

04-07-2010 12:09 PMYea, I knew you could get to rooted 2.1 by going back but didn't know if the devs were working on rooting the official 2.1 update at all so that it would eliminate the steps of going back. I'm not against doing those steps, just trying to decide whether to wait to see if 2.1 gets rooted soon.
