Oh, and if you've accidentally hit remember on deny, you need to go to your apps and select 'Superuser Permissions'. (looks like a ninja dressed in black most of the time)

Once that's open, just tap on all the entries. It will delete what it's remembered so far so that you can re-answer the questions regarding allowing or denying access.

Ok just downloaded that one and am having the same problem. No popup box appears and then after a pause permission denied appears. Could this have to do with my root/permission issues?
EDIT: yeah my superuser program is either not working or blank. Its all black theres no longer any options

Yep. Do you have 'Superuser Permissions' in your apps folder? (the ninja)

Yeah its there but its been nonfunctional when I open it. And it doesn't appear under my Apps when i go into settings to manage them/ uninstall Superuser

Whoops, just missed that message. You could try downloading droidroothelper from the market. Then follow its instructions explicitly to get sprecovery reinstalled on the system. It's what I used to root my phone originally.

Or you could start searching the internet for downloadable backups to try with clockwork recovery.

Although when I did bork my phone with the sbf file, mine would only say that the flash was corrupted and it was okay to connect a usb cable to reflash the phone.

Verizon tried to reflash it (the same way I did with RSD lite software) and it would not work.

They asked me how it happened. I said I woke up in the morning late because the alarm didn't go off and found the corrupted flash message on my phone. They believed me and gave me a new phone. Best part was, they didn't even charge me the $50 for a replacement phone. Which is what they charge you when you DO pay the monthly fee for insurance on the phone.

So I lucked out.

Oh, and I was wondering if anyone out there new of a file to flash with clockwork (from reboot recovery not a phone that's already booted) that would reflash SPRecovery.

You have tried reboot recovery and wiping data and cache right?

If you can't use quickboot, turn off your phone and turn it back on while holding 'x' down on the keyboard. Then do a wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache.

Reboot.

Haha its all good i figured you were installing 9.8. Yeah I'm strongly considering getting insurance with the bugs ive had lately. JIC. And just to be clear, what we've been doing is trying to get a functional backup in place so its safe to go to 9.8?

Yeah I downloaded it then did another factory wipe cache wipe and ima retry the emulator now
EDIT: Yeah superuser still not working/ permission denied in terminal. Now ima start looking into droidroothelper
