Phone freezes and reboots

i am using UD v9 with chevys low voltage 1.2 kernal. run at about 1200mhz. my phone has been completely freezing then reboots itself automatically, very rarely have to do a battery pull. is there anything i can do to fix this?

A minority of phones have issues with LV kernels, as I've heard, so you may want to try a MV kernel to at least see if that remedies your problem.

Try both Chevy and AdamZ and see which one works better.

Also, if there are still issues try going with a lower clock speed.

I have had issues with both kernels. Go to Chevy1's thread. I DLed the 5 slot vs. the 7. My phone loops on the 7 slot, but I can up it to 1.25 5 Slot both LV and MV with no issue.

I've had this problem too. ive also noticed that it is not a full reboot. it boots to the boot loader and thats it. im running the Chevy 1.2 Kernel but i think its something we have to deal with. UD 9.8 is coming out at some point today and hopefully it will be fixed in that rom =)

You don't have to "deal with it", you're overheating and the OS is faulting and rebooting.

Do this: re-flash with one of the 1GHz medium voltage kernels, set your sleep profile to 128/128 and use the OnDemand governor. I bet you no longer get any reboots and that you never notice the speed difference.
