Apps on home pages disappear

Hey I searched the threads and didn't see anything about this somewhere else, so I started a new thread. I installed Blackdroid 9.0 on my phone using ROM manager, and a couple times over the last few days the apps on my homepages disappear and only reappear if I turn my phone off and back on. They remain in the launcher, just not on the home pages. Also when I first boot up, the main home screen is blank for a few seconds before the apps appear. Anyone know why this might be happening and what I can do to fix it? I love all the features of BlackDroid but will return to Bugless Beast if I can't figure this problem out.

As far as I can tell, I haven't noticed anything related to when the apps disappear, it seems to be random. But today I noticed it after I got a text message on Handcent, with pop-up enabled
