BetterCut not working

I am trying to edit my icons with bettercut. the app works fine when i open it but when i go to edit shortcut it goes to the next screen but there is nothing listen. have uninstalled and reinstalled and still have the same problem

Are you using Helix 2? The last time I used it bettercut wasn't compatible, so i switched back to the first Helix launcher, I don't know if Helix 2 has been updated to fix the problem though. My advice would be to just switch to Helix 1/

Have you tried creating a new activity shortcut?

Also, Bettercut (seems to, anyway) will only edit shortcuts on the "normal" home screen.

Options: do the new activities like I said or clear your defaults, go to the normal home screen, drag your shortcuts from the app tray, edit, then go to whatever launcher you like to use. The edited shortcuts should be there.

When I switch from one launcher to another, my home screen setup changes. By "changes" I mean resets.

If you are using the Helix launcher, you need to put the shortcut on the actual home screen (stock). Then it will show up, and when you create the shortcut from Bettercut by way of the Helix launcher it will show up in the Helix. Kind of a pain in the ass...but that's how you do it.

Was it a clean install of bettercut or did you restore it through the various ways? I'm interested because I keep seeing threads such as this, and have never had a problem with bettercut with helix 2 after doing a complete wipe and restoring only the app.

is there an easy way to just get back to my home screen from my launcher?

go to settings/applications and clear preferences for whatever one checked to be your main.

well im using Ultimate Droid. how can i get back to the stock home screen to change around the icons quick?

Edit: im using the Droid Themed App Drawer launcher btw

How do I do this, cause I am brain dead or something....LOL...Really I'm sure it's easy as pie, just escaping me ATM.
