About LinkBacksI am running UD9.0 with one of the overclocked kernels, probably medium-voltage 1.1ghz from AdamZ or something similar. I'm interested in downgrading to a slower kernel, something closer to the original clockspeed, or something moderate like ~700mhz. But, nothing slower than 1.0ghz is an option in the UD Customizer. What should I do?

04-03-2010 09:11 AMJust set the clockspeed where you want it. Shoulld have a setting close to stock. Not sure. I use Chevy's.

Thank you for responding, but what you wrote doesn't mean anything on its own. What app or panel should I be using for to "set the clockspeed"? I have seen references here and there to a non-free program called SetCPU -- is that what you mean I should use? -

04-03-2010 09:25 AMSorry. I assumed you already had it. Used to be that you couldn't run a higher kernel without it. You shou purchase it. It'll allow you to fine tune your phone's clock and get it to run how you want it.

04-03-2010 09:44 AMQuick question -- at the top of most of the Ultimate Droid release threads, in the installation instructions, there is usually a warning to disable SetCPU "set on boot". Does this mean that I shouldn't use "Set on Boot" at all? Or does it just mean I should disable it before running an Ultimate Droid update? What about if I do a clean install of Ultimate Droid from a Nandroid image?
