problem modifying the eri.xml

I'm having problems modifying the eri file when i type my name into the file that and everything is fine i then adb push the file to the framework dir and when i do it brings up some spanish text and says that the vending service has ending unexpectedly why am i getting this never had a problem with any other rom nor any of your roms prior to 9.0 any help please would like to punch my name into the eri instead of ultimate droid on my phone

edit: nevermind i just used pulldown-editor instead you can delete this post so its not clogging stuff up
