Also blackdroid was very tired from getting no sleep the past night or 2, and uploaded his copy with a 1.25GHz kernel, which can be unstable for most. So for other kernels try these if you want:
Overclocking Kernels (Thanks to Chevy and AdamZ)
7-slot Low Voltage
1.0Ghz (125/250/550/700/800/900/1000)
1.1Ghz (125/250/550/800/900/1000/1100)
1.2Ghz (125/250/550/800/1000/1100/1200)
1.25Ghz (125/250/550/800/1000/1100/1250)
7-slot Medium Voltage
1.0Ghz (125/250/550/700/800/900/1000)
1.1Ghz (125/250/550/800/900/1000/1100)
1.2Ghz (125/250/550/800/1000/1100/1200)
1.25Ghz (125/250/550/800/1000/1100/1250)
AdamZ's ESE53 Kernels (update.zip format):
Adamz Low voltage 1000mhz
AdamZ Low voltage 1100mhz
Adamz Low Voltage 1200mhz
Adamz Medium Voltage 1000mhz
Adamz Medium Voltage 1100mhz
AdamZ Medium Voltage 1200mhz
Directions
1) Place the extracted zip file in the clockworkmod backup folder on your sdcard. /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup
2) Manually boot into recovery and wipe data and cache
3) Select "nandroid" from main menu
4) Select "Advanced restore"
5) Restore whatever you ant to restore, but I HIGHLY suggest restoring only boot, data, and system. It will take you back to main menu between each restore, but just go back to the Advanced restore option and choose the next one.
6) When you are done restoring reboot your phone
ALSO, clock is still black :/ So I would use xUltimate. Not sure if it's safe to just adb push a services.jar from previous ROMs on older builds with this.

v9 runs so great for me at 1.25ghz im not gonna mess with anything experimental. v9 gave me a lot of patience its so good.

9 would have been better with the regular home screen and not the current one its preloaded with.

Thanks for posting, but I agree with ^^^
V9 works GREAT. I will wait until the ESE81 builds are stable and optimized.

i would give it a try but last time i had some major issues with my nandroid backup not working... went to do a back up and once my phone reboot i got constant FC from helix for some reason even though all i did was a backup... had to load an older back up and when i did that not all my apps and stuff came over and the market wouldnt let me redowload cuz for some reason it thought i already had them...

are you using rom manager premium? it should give you the option to download the one that you want... if you are just downloading the one that is posted on the forum it should have all 4 with it... might make sure you wipe data before install to make sure you dont have you phone saving a certain one as default...

I actually downloaded the one posted on the forum and I had the same issue. I used the scripts to remove Helix 2 after loading the ROM and then I could no longer return to my home screen. I reinstalled it and looked at what apps came with the ROM and there was only Helix 2, not the other three that should be there. Its an easy fix, just downloaded Helix 1 (which was what I wanted to use) before removing Helix 2.
I used SPRecovery to install, maybe that specific boot doesn't include all the launchers; has anyone else noticed this?
