customizing icons

quick question, i was wondering if there was a way to replace an icon with something else. this is mainly because i use xScope but their icon is so distracting i cant stand to look at it. for example, is there a easy way to customize the xscope icon to make it look like the ultdroid default browser globe icon?

or is that a whole 'nother thing.

not really a huge problem, just wondering if this is possible.

Better Cut

Better cut is alright but i don't like it. if you are rooted you can pull the APK file off system/app edit the PNG icon file to whatever you want and then toss it back on the phone. you can even edit how some apps look doing this, and its easy. (if your rooted tho, sorry i dono)

i've edited the icons for the stock apps but as far as i know you can't for the ones in the data/app folder. they need to be resigned or they won't show in your drawer or get updates. i use folderorganizer to change all my apps icons then back up apps/data so i don't have to keep doing it when i flash a new rom. hope this helps good luck
