Ultimate Droid OTA 9.0.0 INSANELY SMOOTH, TOO MANY FIXES, THEMEABLE FRAMEWORK!!!!

I want my Facebook widget to be black/smoked glass...yet it is still white like it was stock... any ideas?! Im not a rooted droid newbie...just a newbie to this particular forum...

If you updated facebook in the Market after you insalled V9 that is the reason, any updates done the widget as well erasing the skin. Also if you didnt do a virgin install that could cause it as well.

i appreciate the feedback...ill uninstall facebook updates and see how it looks. thanks again

You could probably install facebook via the customizer to get it back how you want it.

i actually just uninstalled update and it worked and looked like the screen shot from page 1....BUT the lettering is black too!! lol so i cant really see the text....so i reinstalled update lol

Just to let everyone know if he do go to ESE81. ShortCuts work with no FC. It is fast at stock speed. Also the Kernels we use now still works.

Just uinstall FB completely, then use customizer to reinstall fb and you will have the glass colored widget with correct colored (white) text...just did it and works fine.

I was a happy ultamatedroid 7.8 user...until swype stopped working, so I thought I would try v9.0

Booted into recovery.
Used my 2b recovery mgr. to prepare my phone for an install of my new rom (system reset/format).
Selected nandroid restore, and pointed it to my nandroid/ultamatedroid9 directory (which contained contents of UltimateDroidV9-cwNandroid.zip).

Phone was now in a never ending boot-cycle.


I then tried to a second time, only this time I selected to also recover the recovery image.

Now I have Clockwork 1.7.8.9 installed, which is fine...but for some reason it doesn't recognize my previous nandroid ROMS.

plan B.
Download UltimateDroidV9-fullupdate.zip, and see if that will play nice w/clockwork 1.7.8.9

Do I simply rename UltimateDroidV9-fullupdate.zip to my sd root as "update.zip" and try an update.zip recovery?

any assistance would be appreciated, as my droid is currently not usable

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I do believe BD was saying that the UDv9 tagged fullupdate was for the OTA update and not to use it as an update.zip.

No, the fullupdate one is the one linked in the OP, which can be used in recovery or ROM Manager.
You don't need to rename it, clockwork can run any .zip regardless of name.

R1Lover recommends doing a factory restore first
then wipe data, wipe cache, then apply .zip from card.
