I am getting the notification of an update, but it says "Testing Links DO NOT USE", I assume they will update it soon.

I am excited about 2.1 just to see what Google and verizon think it needs. I will NOT be an early adopter. UD 8.6.3 (I think) is by far the most stable I have run since I rooted. Absolutely no FCs. 2.1 sounds like a step back.

Exactly! We're not allowed to knock the non-rooters (and to each his own) but why be excited about an update that has less functionality than we "rooters" have.

Well, my understanding is that the Verizon OTA will also push the Radio update. The manual way to load this looks hella complicated, and I'm wondering is the Verizon push will be an easy way to update the radio.

Of course, then it'd be back to UD9.

Im coming from Jrummy cyanogen mod and i want to try this via sp recovery...would i have to wipe data and cache? Thanks
