MM themes for BD??

This is a discussion on MM themes for BD?? within the Blackdroid forums, part of the Custom Roms category; what themes is everyone using for BD? i would like to chang up the icons in the notification bar and i wnet to XDA forum ...

    MM themes for BD??

    what themes is everyone using for BD? i would like to chang up the icons in the notification bar and i wnet to XDA forum and saw a TON out there... but not sure what ones work with BD since i saw a bunch for things like the G1...

    I didn't use MM actually. I just downloaded that ese53 blue theme (update.zip) and edited all of the graphics files in there to give it my own look. Then I ran the update.zip - also, i pull APKs from the system, edit the graphics and icons, and toss it back in the system... customize! yeaaaa

    ya, i was hoping to find one that i could just download and use... dont really have the time to do a bunch of editing... and i didnt even now you could theme with and update.zip... i thought it was only through MM...

    I gotcha. I understand. It does take a lot of time to edit things out and such anyway. The update.zip is here Blue ese53 theme - but as far as MM I cant help ya, never tried applying much with MM.

    now is this a theme? or a ROM? i saw it comes with apps and stuff? is this just so that all the themed stuff comes over the right way and so that you have all the apps needed? i guess i can always give it a try. if its not working right ill just go to my backup...

    when you say you edited some of the images int he update.zip what did you use to edit them? i open the update.zip and all i see is the .apk files? i would like to edit a few things here and there... like make the gmail icon colored and such...?

    You can open an .apk using 7zip with out changing the extension

    do you know where i can find the gmail icon that pops up in the status bar? i dont like that its the only thing not colored...
