Can someone help me out? Ive had the free and paid version of ROM Manager since Ultimate Droid V8.1.1 (as that is what i am currently on), everytime I try to just update from 8.1.1 to 8.6.3 everything downloads fine, but when i boot into recovery, it formats system and cache (to be expected) but then says error (and displays the path that the zip file is in my sd card) and says Status 7. Why cant i get it to simply update?
-
have you tried downloading the update.zip again? How big is it? It could easily be a corrupted install...
Why not let ROM Manager DL it for you (via WiFi it is not that long, and saves you the step of having to copy it over to the folder on the SDCard)....

I have, i let Rom Manager do its thing (it says in my notification bar my Rom has an update), so i click that, I pick my options, click ok, it downloads everything, then messes up in Recovery, Ive tried this twice now.
