News and Weather Widget diappeared with update

This is a discussion on News and Weather Widget diappeared with update within the Blackdroid forums, part of the Custom Roms category; I just used ROM Manager to install 8.6.3 and my News and Weather widget disappeared. Any idea how to re-download? (it doesn't show in the ...

    News and Weather Widget diappeared with update

    I just used ROM Manager to install 8.6.3 and my News and Weather widget disappeared. Any idea how to re-download? (it doesn't show in the list of widgets)

    Use ROM Manager. It is on there as an extra to install.

    Huh? So - I went back into ROM Manager and re-ran through the Blackdroid download....making sure to check the News and Weather widget. It did the install.....but - still no widget.

    choose the customizer. the last part where it asks you to choose an app to install you will find the news and weather widget and check it.

    Re-did it and it work that time. Weird....did the same thing before. The only thing that was different was that I also updated the Clockworks backup prior to re-doing the installation.
