No luck with Adamz kernel and I tired 3-4 of them. Phone rebooting etc...no wifi...

Chevys 10slot 1.0 is working great and wifi is working....my phone likes this one much better.

Anyone else seeing this?

i cannot get mine to overclock at all. i have the adamz kernel installed (tried low voltage and medium voltage). when i go to setcpu it allows me to slide the slider to 1100 but the numbers in the top right corner never change. the number in the top left hand corner will show 600 until i hit refresh, then it goes as low as 250. I dont understand it, when i ran 6.3 i could overclock to 800 with no problem at all. Any suggestions?

Which way did you update?

as much as i hate to do it, i will wipe and try again. I was trying to keep the data in tact. I did the update.zip method upgrading from 6.3 to 6.5

Question I have been using the nandroid method to update to new versions and i have been able to overclock on every one of them, ummm basically why should i change kernels?

hey guys i really wanna try out this ROM. however, i'm running Pete's 2.1 ROM right now.
Is upgrading from Pete's ERE25 to this ESE53 ROM going to be like going from a 2.0.1 ROM to a 2.1 ROM? What i mean is am i going to have to back up all my apps and then reinstall them one by one after wiping /data?

sweet, it's nice up there... Im in Yuba City and work in sac..... right now I'm sitting in traffic in Tahoe.... snowing and some fools went a little too fast lol, I have been sitting here trying to get my phone to work for three hours lol

No, I'm running his low voltage one at 1.1 Ghz solid and stable, and mega cool to boot. I seem to have better luck with this than Chevy's myself.

Yeah, this is about as beautiful a place as there is in the world! We do work in Yuba City sometimes (we work everything north of Santa Rosa and Sac to the Oregon Border). It's been raining, snowing, sleeting, blowing and hailing here, I love it though, the nastier weather the better! Drive safe!

I seem to be one of the rare ones getting better luck with Adamz kernels, I guess each Droid has it's own little personality lol

For all of you having wifi issues with AdamZ kernels and want to keep them

-download linked file wifi driver
-unzip and place on root of sdcard
-boot into recovery
-go into mount options
-mount sdcard and system
-run the following with adb on you computer

# cp -R /sdcard/tiwlan_drv.ko /system/lib/modules/

-unmount system and sdcard on recovery menu then type

# exit

reboot
