Just a thought, can we create a spot to record / list our setups?
Or does one exist?
ROM X, Kernel Y, Clocked at Z, Benchmark Blah # of programs , etc, etc
we could elaborate but it might be helpful to have one spot for a quick check of setups. This might be helpful for all.
I understand that but it might give the devs info on whether or not to pursue certain kernels /features. If only say 10% of us can use them, then why bother. Then they can concentrate on things that will really matter.
Hey all,
First thanks for the ROM and your hard work is appreciated very much so! I have but one question. In the browser do we nee multi-touch AND the zoom buttons? I dislike the buttons and do not want to be reminded of them. I don't know how this would be changed. Is it possible to edit the code and make a new .apk i could get a hold of somehow? I could try to edit the .apk but it would take me a while to learn how first. any help or ideas?
theres A LOT of kernels now with adamz lol, but I kinda like the idea. I mean the other poster is true and not everyone can run every setting, but if people post there best and it's compiled into a master post, you'll end up with a staggered list. Some will be at the top some the bottom others in between. but people can try and shoot for what others have done and see if they can match at least to what their system can do?
lot of work though I think.
Like I said its a thought and it would be some work, its just not my forte.
I figured there would be someone on here that is savy enough to come up with something or a format for people to enter data.
Maybe something per rom, that way when people start trying all these combos something might stick out like a sore thumb and help these guys work on valid things.
yes it would be, and heres the thing, you really only have 4 kernels to try, the rest is mhz related that you want. read alot of people only using 800mhz bc that is what they want.
one in the rom for 1200mhz if no good
Adamz Low voltage 1200mhz if no good
Admaz Medium Voltage 1200mhz if no good
Chevy 1200mhz
that is pretty much how i see people trying kernels. and if they cant 1200 they start with 1100.
everyones kernels are all over the place in what they use. i mean if you wanna make a thread and try that, go for it. Im on Admaz 1200mhz Low Voltage, My buddy is on Stock 1200mhz and unless BD changed he is on Low Voltage 1300! <- crazy guy![]()
right there your on 2 seperate kernels from people and 2 different speeds b/w the 2. if you read that you gonna try low voltage 1200 and 1300 if stock doesnt work. so still a process to find what your gonna use is the thing.
i understand what you want to do but dont see a real big point to it since people need to match kernels to there phones and what they want it to do.
When you put it that way, it would be some work. LOL
