Return to the app's page in the Market. There is a Return and Refund button there for about 24 hours after download.

    @bergdev,
We are working on a better, smarterphoto viewer. It's a very early Beta at present and very light on features, but, this is how we do software: release a primitive concept, then work closely with customers to drive development of features. So, if you're a little robust about bugs and missing features, but you might like to get the features you want implemented, this might be just your thing.

We will be releasing an update before the end of this evening. The added features, combined with what is already there will total:
    * Browsing of all [non-empty] SD Card folders
    * Smart thumbnail creation (for speed, we don't use the Camera App's thumbs; we are now building our own)
    * Smart memory management--ability to load very large images (although they will be somewhat scaled down in the app)
    * Multi-touch zooming (best on Droid, but works on previous phones as well)
    * Variable thumbnail sizes in the gallery view
    * Rudimentary swipe to switch images (no animations as yet, but that's coming)
    * Volume control to switch images

We have so much more to do; when we publish the update, we'll also update our website with status and a list of the features that have "made it" into the backlog and will soon be available, here: SoftwareForMe.com - PhoneMyPC

    Woops

after reading some good reviews here, i decided to buy this app just now. Ive got a brand new phone here, just bought it yesterday, so only app i installed so far was open home.

I installed your app from the market, ran it and immediately got an error as follows:

"Sorry, the application imagine multitouch (process com. softwareforme.imaginemutlitouch) has stopped unexpectedly. Please Try Again"

Well thank you so much for creating an app that has now locked me out of my phone. I cant turn power off, your warning covers it, I cant get into a menu to uninstall it since sliding the lock to enter the phone causes error immediately.

Nor can i restore factory settings since i am now completely locked out of the phone....

    Thanks soooooo Much.

    Hyperactive,
All you need to do is remove the battery and then reinstall the battery and turn your phone back on. Then you can get to settings and uninstall it.

Just like any other software you may install in your phone/computer it may be compatible with the android OS, but may not do well with Home Plus as I have had similar problems.

well considering it does the same thing with open home installed, and with it NOT installed, i would say this isnt a software compatibility isue...Fix the app...

    @ hyperactive,

We're anxious to get a response to the email we sent you. But, in that email we mostly focused on how to get your phone functional and uninstall the app.

Honestly, we'd be very interested to get some details about your phone and/or the contents of your SD card as they related to Imagine. I.e., folders with photos). We know Imagine has bugs, and even though the new version--due out soon--has had many fixes, we've not seen anything as serious as what you reported and we'd like to see if we can figure out why this went so wrong for you.

Has anybody else seen something like this? If so, can you email us your story and any other details? Things like:
    * Folder structure (if it's unusual)
    * Rough number of photos (if there are folders with a huge number only)
    * Type of photos (if you have some that were not taken with the phone's camera)
    * Always-on software (services that run in the background, home replacements)

@hyperactive: we're sorry about the bug. Congrats on the new Droid though; they're awesome phones!

That may be true if Home + was the only other application installed on your phone, but unfortunately it is not. there are other applications that come pre-installed on your phone by the manufacturer and only 3 are covered for tech support by Verizon.

So, take a deep breath and relax they are trying to help you resolve YOUR problem.

Is there ever going to be any updates to this app? Even after the 2.1 update I think Imaging Multitouch is a better photo viewer, but it's been ages since there have been any additions made to the app.

I don't think there's been an update since around January.

Search the Market for "Imagine". When I did the search, Imagine Multi-Touch was the second listing.

EDIT: My bad on my previous post where I had put in "Imaging". That'd certainly screw up any search.
