I understand this app better now that I've had my Droid a while and would like to keep all the features; when does the paid version hit the market?
SystemPanel 1.0.0 has been released this morning. This is the paid app, priced at $2.99 (USD).
My apologies for not monitoring this thread more closely, have been extremely wound up in development the past few weeks, handling bug reports, testing, and doing other similarly "exciting" stuff.
The free version of the product is now "SystemPanel Lite". Yes, it does exclude the long term monitoring service and installer features (as described in the startup messages). The currently available Lite version is still 1.0.rc1, which is nearly identical to 1.0.0 and will work as the full version until June 11.
If you're buying it, your recorded monitoring data from the Lite version won't migrate to the full version. This is due to Android's application security policies (which are a good thing, just not in this case).
And thanks again to all who provided bug reports and feature suggestions. Additional features will be added in future versions as well. 1.0 is only the first iteration.
Very nice! I've had the free version for some time and just got the paid version. Unfortunately I didn't remove the old version so I had two, one saying Version 110 and the other Version 13. However, using SystemPanel itself as the uninstaller (instead of the Manage Apps part of Settings), I saw that one was the older Version 1.0.rc1 and got uninstalled it from there.
SystemPanel 1.0.2 is now available. This release adds the oft-requested capability to hide the notification icon. Please bear in mind that Android requires a notification icon to be present in order to run a service "in the foreground", which substantially decreases its chances of being killed in low-memory situations. This may be a problem for low end devices that do not have much in the way of memory, especially if you have many background services running.
Great App.. Love it...
Something I noticed though.. CPU Pie chart seems to be ok/accurate.. it hangs around 8-10% with the occasional boost however the CPU Clock rate (On the top right) is constantly running around 450-550 speed. I'm I reading it wrong??
