Touiteur – Twitter client/app from the creators of Beautiful Widgets

My goal is not to have more features than X or Y twitters clients,I just want to offer a better experience, and that come with the UI and usability.

It has tweetphoto support (only) because they are the only one to support Oauth. But it's fort the best, the integration is well-done and not just a simple upload feature, you can view your uploaded pictures and delete (I need to add that before the release) them from Touiteur.

IMHO you are certainly accomplishing your goals very well so far. As I said in my original post I am not, nor claim to be a Twitter expert, and Touiteur is the first Twitter app I have used that was super easy to setup (because of OAuth) and VERY intuitive to use. I am a fan of apps that are "intuitive" where everything seems totally obvious and common sense when using it.

BTW, you are correct about the intergration of Tweetphoto.com. I never had an account there, but thanks to the OAuth support in Touiteur, without doing anything at all it just worked automatically. Kind of spooky at first, but very cool! Hopefully other image sharing services will upgrade to this impressive technology soon. I also like that fact that with OAuth I am not having to give my username/passwords to all of the different service providers.

One of these days I would like to understand the secrets of how you make it look so 3D like. Even those little things like when the small "Upating Tweets" pop-up is displayed I would swear it makes my screen look like it is 2 layers of glass as the popup is floating above the app and it looks like you can see under it. All those little touches along with the "intuitiveness" are what makes apps like yours stand out for me and as you said makes for a "Better Experience".

Also it is great to see apps that are starting to take real advantage of the Droid's impressive screen display!

A lacking of decent twitter apps has been a pain my ass. Coming from the iPhone which has some great twitter apps I am looking forward to trying this out. Tweetdeck has been my favorite to date. Can Tama do it?

Well, a lot of people have been wanting to see Touiteur in action. Androinica.com has just posted a pretty good YouTube video going thru some of the features. This looks to be an older version from what I have so the current and release will be even better than in this video.

A small mention of a about one thing I saw, when the reviewer mentioned looking at other's profiles intead of going thru menus to do it all he had to do was tap the user's icon :-) There were others but that one stood out for me.. of course I have been using it almost all day lately so I have ha the opportunity to learn more "tricks" :-)

Hey, thats that theme maker guy that the Punyweakling is such a fan of. He's using Sweeter Home! lol

Anyway, can't say this was the best preview. Honestly I liked your's a lot more Dave. It had a more in-depth preview. But it is nice to get a feel for how you more around in the app.

Can't say I agree with him with the long press option either he didn't realize you can "long-press" to bring up links quicker. Also Long presses in other apps bring up additional options, not the basic "reply" "retweet" and stuf like that so I personally think "long presses" are particularly handy.
