Touiteur – Twitter client/app from the creators of Beautiful Widgets

I just decided to try Twitter and give this app a shot. The main page only shows one person's tweets, but I'm following 5. What's going on?

I dunno lol sometimes it doesn't load every tweet that person has done in the past. Try waiting a few 'til the people you're following start updating more and it should start showing up.

I just decided to try Twitter and give this app a shot. The main page only shows one person's tweets, but I'm following 5. What's going on?

Well, since you're only following 5 people, it's easier to notice the people who update 10-times per day and those who update maybe once per week (like me). :P

So, seeing only 1 person's tweets doesn't necessarily mean something is wrong. That person just might be the only person you follow who has posted any recent tweets. If you were following me, you probably wouldn't see anything from me either since I haven't updated in a while.

Twitter lists ALL of the updates people post in real time... not just the latest update for all of your followers. So, it's similar to posting on a forum, in a way. You just have to scroll down further to get to those other tweets or just wait for them to post something. They'll show up eventually.

I love the twitter app but how do you exit the application to turn it off if u don't want it on?
Back when I had twidroid If I didnt want it alerting me or on I would just go menu then exit application. I can't find that here

Touiteur doesn't run in the background, only when it updates your tweet list. I'm sure you can turn off the the autoupdate feature and it'll stop updating.

Well see thats the problem. Cause in Twidroid/Pro I would just leave the app running so I can receive my tweets while im going around everywhere during the day then at night I would exit the app so it wouldn't bother me. Could you add a button to take off notfications or at least a exit button? Would be nice I love the app. Oh and how do I send a message to a Trending Topic? I click on new and hit trends then it will show me a list I click on list and go to type and it doesnt have the #Topic there at all

I know lol I already bugged him about an exit button. I like your suggestion about how to use the trends list go tweet him @levelupstudio to recommend it

New release with more cool stuff and some fixes/speed improvements.

Keep the feedback coming, as you can see from the recent updates Tama is listening and doing his best to add things people want and fix things for the better.

- Scrolling speed slightly improved
- Added an option to disable auto-refresh after posting a tweet
- Added an option to disable the toasts messages from the widget
- Found a workaround to get the standalone new tweet window transparent again (used for the widget and sharing)
- Fixed a bug where the Touiteur service was starting on boot even if notifications were disabled

did you try disabling it/enabling it? Sometimes that happens with some of my apps.

Yeah. It actually looks like it's not updating the tweets anymore.
