GameFly app for Android gets major update bringing social network for gamers

The GameFly app for Android just received a major update to 2.0, which adds its social network for gamers. The social network has already been available on the iPhone since April 2011, and now Android users can connect with other Android users or across platforms. The update supports smartphones and tablets and includes the following features:

• Create a profile page and browse others’ profiles
• Find new people to play with on Xbox LIVE, PSN & Wii
• Post updates and share info with followers
• Follow friends and other gamers, and discover what they’re playing
• View recent activity around any game
• Comment on others’ posts and see comments on your posts
• Get notifications when people comment on your posts
• Connect Facebook and Twitter accounts seamlessly with the GameFly App
• GameFly members have the option to share the games they add to their GameQ or decide to keep

You can download it now from the Android Market or hit our apps database for the QR code. It will soon be available in the Amazon Appstore and NOOK Store.
