Droid 2 Liquid Gingerbread 2.6
Hey, thanks Fab for all the hard work.
One question...how do I activate my phone? Verizon activation requires you to hit '1' during the activation process. Regardless of whether it's on a fresh hard-reset or by calling *228, the activation progress window comes up w/o a dial pad.
So essentially what's happening is the phone is attempting to activate, calls Verizon's activation line, then sits at the activation progress screen while on the call it's asking me to press '1'. Without a dial pad, I cannot press one.
Help?
Update
I figured out a work around like two seconds after I posted. I backed out of the call (still connected), opened the dialer, then tapped the 'Add another call' option. On the dialer screen that came up, I was then able to tap '1' and the phone activated. I did this after skipping the initial set up wizard.

Is there a way to add the double lock mechanism back on?
Didn't know that about the keyboard, thanks Fab! (although, for as long as I've been using Android, I feel like I should have known that... :P)
Thanks for putting this in ROM Manager btw. That's one thing I miss about having my Evo--all the ROMs in ROM Manager. Any chance of supporting the update functionality?
After about a days use, I absolutely love this ROM.
The only issue I've noticed is that some apps (specifically NHL Gamecenter 2010, and G4) aren't showing up in the market.
Anyone know of a fix to this?

This is exactly what I've been looking for in regards to ROMs for the Droid 2.. Ever since Fission development stopped I didn't think we'd see another as-close-to-AOSP-as-possible ROM for this phone to carry us over to the Gingerbread era and beyond. Everyone seemed to be in love with the "Blur + a few AOSP apps" mindset in their ROMs. I didn't use Apex before simply because it included some Blur stuff, but this changes everything.
I know I speak for more than just myself when I say thank you so much for this!
