    Green ROMs V1 - VZW_2.4.5 Base

    Green ROM
    Based on VZW 2.4.5

Please follow all install instructions. If you use your own method and have issues then install ROM again using suggested install method before posting any issues or questions.

Install Instructions can be found HERE.

Everything you need to know before you install a ROM can be found HERE.

Super Clean ROMs provide little Social Networking functions when compared to Blur. If you want those built in functions then use the Clean Blur ROM. Please do not ask questions about Social Networking in the Super Clean ROMs. The clean ROMs are meant for users who do not care about the Blur crap.

Clean Blur - Clean ROM with all of Blur features.

Super Clean - Basic Android ROM with Vanilla Android Apps and Email.

Super Clean Pro - Basic Android ROM with Vanilla Android Apps and D2 Email.

Super Clean BS VA - Super Clean ROM with Black (HTC) Status Bar and Vanilla Android Icons, Apps and Email.

Super Clean BS VA Pro - Super Clean ROM with Black (HTC) Status Bar and Vanilla Android Icons, Apps and D2 Email.

All Apps - This is all apps from 2.4.5. If something is missing and you would like it in your ROM then download this file, copy the app you want over to your phone system/app folder, set proper permissions and reboot. Please do not ask how to set proper permissions. It can be found HERE.

Kill C3P0 for Clean Blur ROM - If you are downloading Clean Blur for first time then you do not need this fix.

Phone Gray Bar fix - All ROMs

    Enjoy!

AngDroid, just to clarify - for those of us running the Test ROMs you posted here last night (Test ROMs) last night. Are these ROMs here the same as those, or should we "upgrade" to these?

I was just going to post that...I suggest to upgrade. The test ROMs and all 2.4.5 ROMs before this had a hacked 2.4.5 system. When I got the dump it would not boot so I had to replace some missing files from 2.4.0. All new builds have system dumped from virgin R2-D2 device and everything booted up fine the first time...

I am not sure if there is any difference in the system files from 2.4.0 to 2.4.5. I would suggest to upgrade but it is up to everyone to decide if they want to.

Cool..."upgrading" now. I'll let you know if anything blows up.

Upgrade went fine...did a lazy upgrade and didn't wipe data (did wipe cache) since it was a minor upgrade.

Only difference I see so far is now Battery Manager FCs consistently...cleared data and still FCs. Didn't before the upgrade. Plugged in, and Battery Manager opens to display usage w/out FC. Unplugged and FCs again. Don't really care too much, as I rarely access it. Might work fine if I wiped data, but a little too lazy to that tonight. Sunday is a day of rest.

Other interesting point - I had to add facebook.apk from a 2.3.15 ROM to add the Facebook account to my Droid (before I added the APK the Facebook icon on the new account screen would not respond). Putting the updated 2.4.5 ROM on removed the facebook APK, but my facebook accounts still have their facebook pics in Contacts.

    Lovin' the ROM...thanks.

Just downloaded some of the ROMs and also the All Apps zip. I noticed the All Apps zip has all the .odex files left. Are these not deodexed apps within this zip? Was just a little confused when I saw all the .odex files within there. Thoughts?

Let us know how it is Red. I'm using epic 2.5 now, but I'm considering loading up MotaBoy's new build. I'm all about speed so let us know.

    Common Misconception:
Leaving your GPS on drains battery.
Truth is: GPS is only used when you open an application that requires it. You can leave GPS toggled on at all times.

just installed the Clean Blur version. no problems and everything seems to be in place. no FCs...

1330 on Quadrant standard, which is to be expected with the blur apps

but...C3P0 is back (just when calling someone)!
i dont think he's around on the superclean versions

    I'm running 2.40 "Clean" ROM.

Can I upgrade to this ROM with no issues? Or would I have to do like last time and install "Clean" then "Super Clean"?
