    All my texts were deleted, WTF

    A co-worker and I both had all of out texts randomly deleted on our Moto Droids within an hour of eachother yesterday..WTF. Is there any way to get them back?

    Just had this happen to me as well. I lost well over 3,000 text messages. This really blows!

    There's an option "delete old messages" in the Messaging app settings. Could that be what's causing this?

    Nope.. all of my factory loaded messaging stuff is turned off. Handcet is just wiping it out. I had at least 3k messages in there i bet. It literally worked for 1 txt then i went back in and they were all gone. Pretty damned annoying for sure.

    I like Handcent.. what else is similiar to it that I could use? I like the vibrate features and the LED stuff.

    ChompSMS is another option. I don't have much experience with it, just know it's out there.
