phone issues

so i've had my droid from day 2 or so. it was doing great until like the past week it's been dropping calls or people all of a sudden can't hear me. i haven't dl any new apps that would account for it but i was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions. i tried *228 but it's just weird that all of a sudden its happening. thanks.

I am having similarproblems. I got the phone about 3or 4 weeks ago and it was fine but the last doy or two, (since the update I believe) my phone has been acting up . I have had very poor sound quality, dropped calls, I had a call come in , unlocked screen to answer and phone would not pick up then I tried calling person back but that would not work and then all of a sudden person was on the phone...in the middle of our conversation my phone suddenly completely shut down and then restarted complete with DROID opening screen etc. I had to then call the person back. The whole time the sound quality was terrible. Sound quality has been bad on all calls since update. Not sure howto handle this but I guess if it continues I will have to take the phone back.

I just got my Droid 4 days ago. It was great for 2-3 days. Yesterday, I made a call--the other person could not hear me. Today, it dropped 2 calls in a row, right together. I went by Verizon--they ahd me call Tech Support. Now I have a trouble ticket out there, waiting for a return call to tell me if it was the network or my phone.

See, I've been having a similar but different problem. As I'd mentioned in a thread I created yesterday, I've been having troubles lately in which the receiver doesn't make a sound (e.g., no dial tone, can't hear my own voice, can't hear the other person), yet the person on the other end can apparently hear me fine.

Anyone else have that issue?

I had this just happen! I could not hear the phone ringing when making a call and I could not hear the person when they answered but they could hear me! I could hear if I turned on the speaker but if the speaker was off, then nothing! I turned the phone off and then turned it back on and it was fine! I never had any issues with my Droid until the update! Now I have to turn it on and off once a day. What is with that?

I also have this problem n it has happened to me twice! Someone has to fix this asap!
