Camrea On Bug

For the past several days, my camera has started turning itself on by itself. Once the camera comes on, the phone runs through a series of steps, as if I were manipulating it. Don't call me crazy, but I think this activity is associated with the charger and (even crazier) something to do with touching the left side of the phone's body. Beyond that, I haven't a clue.

Has anyone heard/seen/fixed this? I love my phone, but I can't battle with the camera constantly to use it.
