    POP3 text encoding issue

I am having a problem sending emails to a client. So far this client is the only one I know of having an issue. No matter what I send the encoding, or something, seems to be hosed. I always get a reply of: "I just got a really weird email from you." And here is what is sent back to me (what I sent).

I really need to fix this. I've sent test messages to myself, and have no issues, but I can't not be able to send messages to my clients. Any thoughts?

    edit:
I am using the included POP3 client on my motorola Droid. Everything about my phone (other than added apps) is stock. It has only been updated, when I receive notifications that an update is available. If I need to use a different, hopefully free, app for POP3 let me know. I searched around some to see if I could find a similar issue to no avail.

That's weird... try sending me a test email at zane@houseofzane.com, let me see if I get the same thing. If I don't, then it might be an end-user problem. I know that sounds unlikely, but we've gotta start somewhere.

Known bug in stock client. It is encoding in base 64 when it doesn't need to. There are several other bugs in the stock email client: replies are attaching a random email from one of your folders (!!!!!!!!), pop3 stops polling randomly.

NO ONE SHOULD USE THE STOCK EMAIL CLIENT. IT IS BROKEN!!!

    Use K9, Gmail, or touchdown.

    welp, there you go

I didn't realize it was a known bug and thought that it might have something to do with your email settings.

The reason I received your email may be because it's google hosted. That's pure speculation, though.

I use the stock client and I've never had this problem.... I've set up all of my email accounts using IMAP as opposed to pop3... maybe you could try this if you want to use stock.
