I have had my Motorola Droid for a few months now and I could not be happier. Over the past month my battery has been dying every 24 hours. I have googled all problems and still cannot seem to find the answer to my problem.
My phone would last for a week and now it has to be charged every day. Here is what I have done to extend the battery life.
I have turned the display all the way down. My screen goes into sleep within seconds from use.
GPS/wifi is turned off.
I use advanced task killer and the app spare parts to make sure nothing is running.
I only text a couple of times a day and rarely uses the phone to call and it still needs to be charged every day. I believe I have turned off every possible thing that would drain the battery. I rarely use the phone and it still dies every 24 hours.
Anny help would be appreciated.
