Yelp can't figure out where I've gone to

I live in New Jersey but was in New York City the other day. I becames frustrated with Yelp when finding a nearby restaurant because it kept thinking I was still in New Jersey. I had GPS on, I went to Maps and kept choosing "My Location." Go back to Yelp, yet no change. What finally did it was I searched for the restaurant I was standing in front, chose Directions form Here, and then, only then, did it realize where I was.

Any more straightforward way to get Yelp to figure out my location has changed.

Hey there - Eric from Yelp HQ. We did have a bug related to current location not expiring properly. We submitted an updated app yesterday that should correct the problem. Get the latest update and check it out!

Less than 24 hours, user is lost and Yelp locates him here, creates new account and responds. I'm impressed!

Yes, thanks for responding so quick. I did get the update, and I'm glad I posted.

In fact, my wife was bugging me at the time to let it go and stop working on it. But I wanted to work on it, and I'm glad I did to help improve Yelp for everyone.
