Well i guess I will call Moto again on Monday if I don't hear from them in timely fashion.. no call on Friday.. ugh
Well, I had a repeat false low battery warning with the red flashing light. Just like last time, it occurred shortly after I received a Gmail notification. I powered off the phone and waited a minute and then turned it back on. After the phone booted up it correctly showed the battery charge at 100%.
I have been getting calls now from Moto letting me know they have not had it happen to their test phone and they will call me again either on Friday or next week. My fingers are crossed they are reading these forums that I linked to them about this issue and hope for a resolution soon. If no resolution, at least I can update again when they call me.
Ok here's the deal.. None of Moto's test phones have produced the issue so they asked me to send in my phone in order for them to tear it apart to find out what's wrong.
I am waiting for the paperwork to be sent so I can ship the phone out.

False low-battery? me too - after "low-battery, needs charge" message, if I switch the phone off then on again the "Status" charge indication reads 80% or whatever. Happens about once per week or two...
We shall see in 3-5 days..
