Troubles connecting to mac via bluetooth

Mac osx 10.5.8. I can pair perfectly fine over an over again but I cannot connect. I tap on the mbp in the bluetooth settings but nothing happens, with everything else when i tap on the selection it will say connecting and then connected. With the mbp it doesnt even attempt to connect.

Any ideas? Im trying to get pdanet bluetooth working

So no one else has had this problem with their macs? Well maybe i will finally take the leap to Snow and it will get fixed.

It can't be done. At least not for free and I don't know if it would even work but I think you need to add Mobil Me on to your Mac to hook it up. They see each other just fine but they can't be paired.
