    Droid stuck in boot loop.

It was running Sholes mod. Whenever you power it on, it would just go to the bootloader screen and freeze. I could get to the ROM menu and tried revert to a nandroid backup, reinstall Sholes and apply the update.zip again, nothing worked. I even used RSDlite and tried to re-flash completely...nothing. So I took it back yesterday and VZW replaced it without much complaining, which was nice.

Anyone else seen this? I don't think it had anything to do with the modding since no matter what I did it would not boot into anything. Weird.

it was most guaranteed the modding was the culprit of your bootlooping.

    If so, wouldn't a re-flash fix it?

yes it should if done correctly it should fix it. a lot of folks have been having problems with bootlooping using the clockwork recovery.

I agree... it's weird. If it was a software problem, you'd think that completely reflashing the ROM would fix it...
