If all the memory is being used for crap that's been left running, when I try to open a new ap or make a darn phone call the OS has to first dump another ap to get the memory it needs to run. Some of these aps do not LET android shut them without a fight which takes time. On top of that the process in Android to organize these handovers kind of just plain sucks.
I use my ap killer and it says 9 aps killed 32mb memory available. What the hell is that? An ap killer is supposed to KILL ALL APS if thats the way I have it set. I should have all my memory available minus what the OS needs to run, but Android does not do this. My ap killer is the Advanced Task Killer that everyone uses and recommends...
Android is just turning out to be far less than perfect as time goes on...which could be solved if I wasn't stuck in this stupid two year contract with an increasingly obsolete phone.
