Exclamation Music through headphones, max volume causes buzz

as the title says, out of no where 4 days ago, i was listengin to my droid with my headphones on, on max volume, and i just hear a BUZZ on all heavy bass hits (hip hop). jsut happened randomly so i figured it was my headphones. NO! if i just turn it down ONE notch it is fine, and i plugged it into my desk speakers, THE EXACT same thing occurs.

if anyone is having this issue let me know please, or if anyone has suggestions how to fix...hopefully one that doesnt consist of getting a new droid..too much time and effect into this one lol

Happens to me when I connect Droid to Aux inputs in my Murano. So much feedback, I cannot use it. However, when I connect my iTouch with the same configuration, no problems. hmmmmm. I'd love to know if there's a fix too!

Turn down the Droid to 3/4. No buzz.

I've had this problem for the last few weeks. I didn't want to call Verizon because I've just recently got my phone the way I want it and I don't want to reflash this back to stock, but yesterday I had enough. The customer service rep spoke to me for only five minutes before saying my new phone is on the way. The woman from Verizon believes it's a defective headphone Jack. That's my experience.

Its not the headphone jack. Its the modified kernels in the custom roms, etc.

The stock kernel does not have this issue.

That very well may be. I'll check it when I unroot my phone to return it Monday. At any rate I don't believe the headphone jack is supposed to wiggle and neither does VZW. I'm really just hoping to get one of those bubbled keyboards I've heard about and saw a picture of in another thread, but I'm not holding my breath Thanks for the info though.

yea that could very well be it, but it only happens to me on a few songs, but its always on the left speaker, but obviously keeping it one notche down isnt TOO big of an issue, just those little things that are annoying... but hey that happens when you root, and install apps on the phone that werent ment to be there right?
