Can't get any messages from iPhones!

Hello all

I have the LG Thrive Go phone. I have never been able to receive group texts from anyone with an iPhone. I always get a "download" button that NEVER downloads after clicking it.
Now the same thing is happening w/ almost any iPhone msg from a friend. I also can not get or send any photos to anyone, I get one of the following errors:

Currently unable to download, please try again later.
Sending.......
Downloading...


I have cleared the cache, emptied my photos, gotten rid of Apps, history, etc. The phone has plenty of storage room. What is the problem!?!
