Trouble installing market 3.3.11?

I can't seem to install 3.3.11 over 3.2 or even after I delete 3.2

Any help?

Not that it will help you but I installed 3.3.11 over 3.2 on my OG Droid running Chevy's 5.6 and it works fine.

I had the same problem - here's what I did: If you're using 3.20 you're rooted I presume. I renamed the file to vending.apk. No matter what I did it would not install, so I used ES File Explorer to copy the file from my downloads folder after renaming it to /system/apps. It still would not install and of course I tried clearing things and that too had no effect. For the hell of it after copying the file, I just ran (launched) it and it worked via the icon on my "desktop". I did have to reboot so the icon would appear in the launcher tray. People are saying there is a new icon, but to me it is the same as 3.20 - at least for me anyway...

Ok, here's how I got it to install...

I uninstalled the old Market, REBOOTED, then installed the new.
