Droid X2 Touchscreen goes crazy

My Droid X2 touch screen goes crazy on me. I will click on something then all of the sudden the phone just starts clicking on things by its self and bringing other screens up. I have had it on the home page and it all of a sudden goes and acts like im holding the screen down to add a widget. it resets its self when i turn the screen off but does it again when i cut the screen back on. i have tried reseting the phone and taking the battery out but nothing helps. any advice or help would be awesome. thanks

Do you have a screen protector? Are you using clean hands? Have you taken it to the Verizon store? =P

I had something similar happen, except mine would not allow me to click our select anything. Like yours blanking out the screen would clear it up.

I called verizon and had a replacement sent out.
