    outgoing email server question

    Hey everyone, I'm trying to set up an email account on my motorola droid, and i can't get the outgoing email server to work. Is there a dedicated verizon wireless outgoing email server that i could utilize?

    Try changing the port from 587 to 25 perhaps.

    What mail service are you trying to connect to?

    Make sure that Require sign-in is checked on your outgoing mail settings...

    My school email, but they do not allow connection to their smtp if your not on the network. I found that I could use my gmail account on smtp.gmail.com as the outgoing server.
