tex and email problems

This has prolly been on here before but I didn't want to look for it so I thoughd w.t I should start a new thread but I have been having tex messageing problems and email problems with my moto droid I will onlt get half of them and gmail lags a lot on my phone my gf can send me a half a dozen texs and I don't get them and when I get emails it lags a bit when I get my droid life daily digest come around 3pm central for me but there have been time it comes at midnight I am rooted I had lithum mod ng I thought that was the problem so I put a fresh rom on it now I have simply stunning with android 2.3 my kernal is chevys 1.25 low voltage can some one help me thanks in advance
