How can I launch websites stored in my contacts that do not have http:// in front?

I imported my contacts and have tons with only www and not the whole http:/www. When I click them, they don't launch the browser. Can I get it to do that? If not, how can I globally replace www with http:/www without interfering with the ones that are already http:/www (making these http:/http:/www)?
