Looks like I dropped my Moto droid 1 and it landed on the volume button. The volume down is working, but the volume up is not. Is this repairable? If so how hard is it to fix?

Try Button Savior?

My phone is not rooted.
Sounds like a hardware issue not software (could be wrong) if its hardware then you will have to take your droid apart, if its software then you will need to talk to someone who knows the software side (I know hardware) there are volume control apps out there that you can use

It is hardware, how easy to fix this. I can handle going into my phone.

Depends...... if it just needs to be re-alined then pretty simple. If a wire has come off of the board then it can be a challenge toilet solder back (depends on your skills with a soldiering iron) if the button is broken on the inside it may not be fixable....... when you open your phone (if you open it) be careful take your time and if you look around near the control you should see what is out of place. Should be pretty easy for the most part
