First smart phone

Hey guys, This is my first smart phone and i might have some problems.

For some reason, when im in a app, and i hit the home button, nothing happens. Which it didnt a couple of days ago.

Also i have the orintation on, but when i turn my phone it doesnt go into landscape. Only when i slide it up will it go into landscape. Is this normal?

Also just noticed that my home and search buttons arent working, but when you touch them they do vibrate. Also it doesnt lock anymore.


After reading other post, i did the factory reset and it works now. I have to redo everything but any ideas why this happened?
