Android phone V.S. iPhone

There are so many companies claim to launch smart phone based on Android OS, including Moto, Dell, Samsung, LG... So, the smart phone would be mainstream in the phone market. But, undoubtly, Apple iPhone is the No.1 in the market, could Android phone defeat iPhone?

umm where have you been? android has already overtaken iphone in the market, and btw most of the stats u see showing ios in the lead are fakes because they include the ipod touch lineup, For what it is android is currently ahead oh ios in marketshare.

You are false, iPhone still controls the market, android has had some better quarters but is still behind overall in market share. But they are certainly closing the gap little by little.

The G2 is a much more accurate representation of Android

Android 2.2 (the current release) is not optimized to run on a tablet. Android 3.0 or 2.3 (Gingerbread, and version number is still speculation) which is on it's way is reportedly written with tablets being taken into consideration.

Once Gingerbread releases we'll start to see Android tablets start to shine IMO
