    Thumbs down Unlock Epic 4G for Verizon?

    As I understand it, the Samsung Epic 4G is a CDMA phone with EV-DO 3G and WiMax 4G. Verizon's network is CDMA with EV-DO. Is it possible to use just the 3G capability of the Epic 4G on Verizon's network?

    I also live in an area with a WiMax provider. Is it possible to use 3G with WiMax without Sprint? Is it possible to use WiMax without 3G?

    I would love to buy the Epic 4G, but I need to know whether or not it will work with my existing carrier.
