    Unlock my Motoroi XT720

    Hello,

    I just recieved my unlock code for a new (Korean Version) Motorola XT720.

    However there when I put my Aussie SIM in, there is no screen request to enter the unlock codes.

    Is there a number or another way to force this?

    I even tried the number **057* but this does nothing, acutally when I type this exactly on the dialpad it shows **_057*

    Any help is appreciated. I would also like to "root" this phone but only droid update.zip I tried without success.

    You don't need to worry about the unlock your cell phone.There are numbers of sites are available on internet which offer these things.You just need to search on Google and you will get it.

    Hi Danel,

    Yes I have paid for several unlock codes and none of them work. Although I have had my money refunded none of the unlock code website are able to do the unlock because there is no option to enter the unlock code.

    When I put my Australian SIM card in the phone, it is expected that a screen will pop-up and request the unlock code, but this does not happen.

    The service provider SKTelecom seemed to have locked this functionality.

    No luck with unlock

    No I have not yet foiund anyone who can unlock the Motoroi. I am really in need of this as it is such an awesome phone!!!.'

    So, could you unlock your Motoroi???
    Actually I also want to buy the motoroi in Korea.
    But I wonder if I can unlock it to use it outside of Korea? Because I won't stay here for a very long time.

    The number you typed to enter the unlock is wrong. There are just 3 steps to follow to enter the code and unlock the phone. This site www.wickedunlock.com provides the unlock codes and instruction for your Motoroi XT720.

    For the Korean version of Motoroi XT720 the normal procedure does not work as SKTelecom has disabled this functionality that is normally used to enter unlock codes.

    SKTelcom has a signature file and other restrictions not allowing the unlock cods to be entered.
