Samsung Galaxy Note buttons?

Hey DF!

I hope everyone is have a fantastic New Year thus far. I have a question regarding the buttons. I have ICS 4.0.4. I was wondering if there is a way to either lock or disable the actual buttons that are around the sides of the case on my device.

I ask this because I have the Pinball Arcade installed on here and I am addicted to the realism of the pinball tables and I play these virtual pinball machine all the time, but the problem is the tables play best in landscape and unfortunately I am constantly hitting the buttons mid game completely screwing me up. I'm either accidentally locking my device or changing the volume mid ball. It's starting to frustrated me. So uneasy hoping there is a way that via an icon on my desktop I could launch like a pre app that would let me disable the buttons or perhaps there is something in the Apex Launcher Pro that would let me disable them?

I dunno, maybe you guys have some other suggestions as to how I can achieve what I'm looking for.

I really appreciate any ideas you guys may have.

Are the controls on screen?? I would email the DEV of the app and see if they can add an update that will disable the hard buttons on the phone..... I am not aware of any apps that do this but the DEV should be able to add a code that disables those.... The issue would be if you actually wanted to change the volume in the game you would run into issues.... They would have to add an option to press and hold to get the volume to change maybe......

Hey Miller. Yeah I was thinking about that (seeing if the device could add an option to disable the hard buttons) , however exactly for the reason you mentioned (wanting to change the volume ect ) was the reason I thought it better to see if there was an app or configuration option in the launcher ect. I suppose it would not hurt to ask though.
