SD Card upgrade issues. HTC Wildfire

So I upgraded from a 4gb to a 16gb SD card (yes I made sure to format it beforehand) and now I'm getting one of three messages at random: card is either blank or unsupported format (its formatted to fat32), card is unexpectedly removed (usually happens whenver I try to access it), and simply card was removed, please insert new one even though I never touched it in the first place. It refuses to recognize the card (its a 16gb sandisk), I've already rebooted countless times, formatted, and even factory reset and still no improvements. The card itself is fine as it works in my camera with no troubles. Please help...

Ok, so I think it's been resolved thanks to Murphys Law. Turns out my version on cyanogenmod was outdated, so I got sidetracked and decided to update it. after updating I decided to give my sd card another shot. I put it in, and everything is fine. added some apps, eveythings fine. finally added all my music, and so far eveything is good. Apparently, I just needed to flash Cyanogenmod again and everything is fine.....will post again if problem reappears.

Problem has started again. I took it to my carrier to restore my data connection. See, they have to put in some ssettings in order to restore my data connection (something about new towers and upgraded service etc). My SD card worked just fine Before they did this, then immediately after they fixed my data connection it starts acting up
