    Non-Removable Batteries

So I'm wondering why some people are complaining about some recent phones coming out with a non-removable battery. I mean it clearly won't cause any problems with resets. Tablets don't have removable batteries and they seem to be doing fine without them. What are your guys' thoughts?

I tend to agree with you in the respect that it is not that big a deal. They are probably concerned they will experience bad battery life, like many Android phones do, and will be unable to carry a spare or use an extended one. I am willing to make a bet if these phones have consistently good battery life that it will cut down on the concern.

Thank you. I have been hearing that it will be crucial for Android but I don't think so. People think that battery pulls are a must but it really isn't.

I have really long days 10-14 hours. On Sundays 18-24 hours. There are no stock battery's that will hold up to that. Of course a USB battery with the short cord works great, but a spare battery is golden.

Pretty sure I read that just holding in the power button "acts" like a battery pull anyway for when those times are necessary.

Sorry I worded my prior post poorly. Supposedly they have changed the functionality of holding the power button down to act like a battery pull instead of just powering it off. I believe this was done for times such as a screen freeze where you can not actually get the menu to pop to select shut down.
